Veg Chow Mein Recipe Step by Step

first of all In a medium sizes pot, bring water to a boil.and add hlaf teaspoon of salt to the boiling water.

Add noodles at boiling water and cook 8 to 10 minuet or until soft and firm.

Drain and rinse the noodles under cold water Set aside.

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let them crackle lightly.

Add chopped green chilies, curry leaves and cook until golden brown. Keep the flame medium.

Add chopped vegetables (potatoes, potato, cabbage & carrots) and fry for 2-3 minutes.

After all the vegetables are cooked, add tomato sauce and green chilli sauce. the noodles and mix with the help of a spoon.

Add 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder and salt as per taste mix well and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

Add finely chopped coriander leaves.

  • 150g hakka noodles (chowmein noodles)
  • 2 Tablespoon oil (refined oil)
  • 2 Cup medium size onion (Straight finely chopped)
