Follow the step by step recipe card to make delicious Sesame laddu
First of all, heat a big pan on gas and add 1 teaspoon ghee in it.
Add 200 grams of sesame seeds and roast them on medium flame until they turn golden brown.
In the same pan, roast 100 grams of peanuts for 5 to 7 minutes. Take them out in a vessel like a plate. When they cool down a bit, crush them with your hands and separate the peel.
To make syrup in the same pan, grate 150g jaggery and put it in the pan and add 1 to 2 cup of water and melt it.
To check the syrup, when the jaggery melts completely and starts foaming, put a drop of it in water and see. If the syrup solidifies in the water, it means that the syrup is prepared perfectly.
Add roasted sesame seeds and peanuts to the syrup and mix well with the help of a spoon.
When the mixture cools down a bit, apply ghee on your hands and make small peda-sized laddus. Similarly, make laddus from all the mixture.
Put all the laddus in the cereal soup and roll them from right to left to make them nicely round.
