Due to which jaggery provides natural sweetness and sesame seeds provide warmth to the body. This is the reason why sesame laddu is a very popular sweet among everyone from children to the elderly in the winter season. It is easily available in the market and small shops. So, friends today I am going to share with you through this article how to make delicious and easy sesame laddus.

How to Make Sesame Laddu Step by Step

  1. First of all, heat a big pan on gas and add 1 teaspoon ghee in it.
  2. Add 250 grams of sesame seeds and roast them on medium flame until they turn golden brown. Keep stirring continuously and when the sesame seeds start crackling and fragrance starts coming out, take them out in a vessel like a plate and let them cool down.
  3. In the same pan, roast 100 grams of peanuts for 5 to 7 minutes. Take them out in a vessel like a plate. When they cool down a bit, crush them with your hands and separate the peel.
  4. To make syrup in the same pan, grate 200 grams jaggery and put it in the pan and add 1 to 2 cup of water and melt it.
  5. To check the syrup, when the jaggery melts completely and starts foaming, put a drop of it in water and see. If the syrup solidifies in the water, it means that the syrup is prepared perfectly.
  6. Add roasted sesame seeds and peanuts to the syrup and mix well with the help of a spoon.
  7. When the mixture cools down a bit, apply ghee on your hands and make small peda-sized laddus. Similarly, make laddus from all the mixture.
  8. Put all the laddus in the cereal soup and roll them from right to left to make them nicely round.

Pro Tips
